Front bumper T2 08/59-07/67 (USA) primed

After more than 45 years of faithful service, it is not surprising that many Type 2 -07/64 Split bus bumpers are damaged by corrosion and parking accidents, or in the worst case, accidents. Welding or straightening damaged bumpers is a lot of work and we know from experience that it takes a lot of time. That is why we decided to present a good alternative so that you can replace them if necessary. We offer both European and American bumpers, with bumper guards and supports. They can be ordered from stock for both front and rear.

Nobody delivers more bodywork elements that are designed to match the factory design than BBT. We thought it was time to bring back the "diamond cut" bumpers.

Exactly, in the last 3 years of the production of the split-window buses, the bumpers were of a different design. After the pressed bumpers, in 1959, the VW factory started to equip the
buses with a larger and stronger bumper. After the broken line (slanted line, slash), they called the bumpers free-angled
cut. In the 1966 model year, Volkswagen changed the ends of the bumpers of the buses and called them diamond cut.

So far, no one has produced this type of emergency flasher again, BUT BBT
yes! It is made from one piece by deep-drawing the sheet metal within our SWT program. Finally, it gets a decent L82 silver-white paint job that matches most
buses. Soon more "diamond cut" bumpers
will be added to BBT production with this paint job.
