Butterfly window, right, T2 08/67-07/79 SWT quality

The market has been screaming for good butterfly windows for years. While the prices of used items in good condition have risen to stratospheric levels, 15 years ago an entire bus was going for that much. Vents are victims of the rust devil and we have known for many years that the market was ready for a serious replacement part. So BBT stepped in and started manufacturing a completely new assembly and a perfect replacement part, not a replacement for aluminum and the like, but the real thing, a vent exactly like the original, but new. Completely new and completely like the original, the real deal. Did we know how many separate parts these vents are made of? It's almost unbelievable for a part that seems so simple. But in fact, it's a very complicated part to make and assemble. In addition to the different parts, you need 24 pieces to make it! riveting work (exactly like the original) requires a total of 110 minutes of assembly time per frame, and no less than 2 different laser operations on the outer frame. All in all, a very complicated and very intensive production. Our manufacturer did a great job and we are very proud of the results! After four years of development, the final product is fantastic! A perfect ventilation wing, as it should be and 100% like the original! Our ideas add new dimensions to our humble VW bus world!
