This button is used as a glove compartment door button on the Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type3 and Bus T2 and to operate the fresh air control on the Beetle, Karmann Ghia and Type3. The short version BBT 0544-150 is for the unpadded "metal" dashboard, and BBT 0544-151 is for the black padded one. The fresh air button cap is BBT 0544-152 and fits both buttons.
