Connecting pipe between heater pipe and exhaust

This is the connecting pipe that is clamped to the top of the exhaust and runs through the rear engine case (left and right of the crankshaft pulley). The air hose (BBT 1095 or 1095-1) connects to this at the top and draws air from the fan shroud through the exhaust into the heat exchanger, then carries the warm air forward. Bob developed this after he damaged an original hose with sharp edges and made it with a tapered top and bottom so the cardboard heater hose would slide through and be easier to push into the exhaust. This was BBT's first product. Thousands are sold each year, BBT being the original source. The pipe is a 50mm diameter pipe, which you will find many of on the site, starting with 1095.
