Rubber protective cap for the brake pressure contacts on the master cylinder. This was introduced on most models from the fall of 1966. We recommend using this on all single circuit brake systems to protect the brake pressure contact connections.

This rubber is also used on the dual-circuit brake pressure contacts up to model year 1971 and on buses up to October 1969 (ch 229 061 567), as well as on the zero safety and oil temperature switches of the semi-automatic transmissions of the Beetle and Karmann Ghia.

This rubber can also be used for the neutral safety switch and the oil temperature switch mushrooms.
