The 1231 brake shoe set is used, and the 1239-09 basic assembly set, which is sold in pairs, is used. Use the 1212 or 1212-eco brake master cylinder. It is important to wipe the inside of the drum (where the brake shoes contact the drum) with a good quality brake cleaner. This will ensure that all anti-oxidation oils are removed before installation. We also recommend that you fully inspect the brake system components for excessive wear and/or damage.
