The steering angle of the T2 type buses up to -07/67 is limited by 2 conical stop screws, which are formed on a wire end. These conical stops are fed and assembled via this wire end and a locking nut to the kingpin. When the maximum steering angle is reached, the pin touches the spindle nut and the rotational movement stops. We know from experience that this part of the steering wheel is very sensitive to corrosion and can jam severely. Disassembly can cause damage and the re-production of this part requires mechanical work. From now on, BBT can offer this stop screw from its own production, individually from stock.
