BBT's product development department has been planning to produce these oil deflectors for a long time, but finding a good manufacturer for the tooling and manufacturing was a very complex task. In any case, time has brought the solution and we are very pleased with the result. The oil deflectors are located on the rear brake drums and their important task is to prevent oil from the transmission from getting through the swingarm to the brake lining. The original plates are often damaged by corrosion or are damaged when removed from the brake drum. We can now deliver good reproductions from stock that match the original NOS model for Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and Porsche 356.
