When the rear control arm rubber bumper (1457) falls out of place, you can fix it with these bolt-on parts. This was the case for years until you could not get a new bracket, but now there is a new bracket 1457-050 for the left and 1457-060 for the right. It doesn't cost much more than this repair kit. This is the bracket where the bumper (1457) is mounted. Originally this bracket was welded on, but it often rotted and broke, and the only defect is in the control arm.
