The cover features a two-piece oil cooler cover and longer threaded studs to properly secure the Type 4 oil cooler to the original Type 1 oil cooler bracket. The internal air deflectors follow the original VW design exactly, ensuring optimal cooling air distribution. In addition, the cover is equipped with an air deflector ring that further optimizes the air flow to the oil cooler and cylinders.
