In some parts of our world, weather conditions are not always as we would like. But most of us like to travel with our Classic and it is best to do so in a safe way. The only solution is to make sure that our pride is in perfect condition. A properly functioning wiper mechanism is one element of this idea and it can be very annoying, or worse, extremely dangerous, if the wiper mechanism is not working properly. One of the parts of the wiper mechanism that can be damaged due to lack of maintenance is the ball joints (BBT 2471-105 ) on the wiper mechanism drive rods (BBT 2471-106 ). Due to corrosion, these ball joints can become clogged and the drive rod can bend due to the malfunctioning of the ball joints. BBT now offers replacement ball joints, all from stock, and we can also deliver the drive rod if it becomes damaged.
