You can install a Porsche 356 engine in a Beetle or Karmann Ghia, but not without making the necessary modifications.
One of these is the exhaust, because the exhaust ports of a 356 engine are shaped differently than those of a Type 1 engine.
That is why we have included this exhaust in our range, to make installation a little easier.

This exhaust is a complete system with J-tube.
Fits all model years of Karmann Ghias, but only Beetles from 08/55 onwards.
This is because the exhaust pipes fit into the recesses of the rear panel, not underneath it.
