Engine hood gasket, German T2 03/55-07/67

The engine compartment of type 1 and 2 buses is sealed by a rubber seal located around the engine compartment opening. This seal is subject to severe wear due to changing weather conditions and the heating and cooling of the engine compartment. We have had a comprehensive solution for replacing the seal for both types for some time now, although the profile was not entirely suitable. In the meantime, we have been continuously searching for a suitable alternative and are now pleased to present the seal with the correct profile. It is available for type 2 (03/55-07/67) under the article number 7450-100, for type 2 (08/67-07/70) under the article number 7533-000.
