This is the rubber that VW originally used to install the glass in the drafty window frame. It is very difficult to install, requires the right tools and patience to press the glass in, but then it sits as it should. This is also the rubber that sits on the air distribution cover of the T1 bus. These are often dry or simply missing, so they do not close properly and let air through when closed. Supplied in rolls of 100 x 8 cm, sufficient for 2 windscreens or both distribution wings.

Campers are often equipped with practical shutter windows, which consist of different slats placed one above the other in a frame. After many years, the seals can be damaged by UV radiation and heavy use and must therefore be replaced to avoid leaks and damage to the slats that collide with each other. BBT can now offer these seals in sets for 1 window for type 2 -07/67 under 7414-100 and for type 2 under 08/67-07/79 under 7514-100.

Your split window bus has the vent on top of your head (upside down inside the roof). These little rubber buffers allow for a nice, but non-rattling, opening and closing motion! It is standard procedure to replace them every time the ventilation system is disassembled.
