The wheel studs on the T2 and T3 Transporters become short when you install aluminum or other light alloy rims. With the T2, you replace the rear studs with this stud, then put the one you took out from the rear in the front and the vehicle is safe. In the case of the T3, there are normal bolts in the front, you need longer ones, but you need to install these in the back to stay safe on the roads. I hope I was able to help.
