Our finally available mechanism is very useful for moving the heater cables for Beetles from 10/52-07/64 and Type 2 buses (known as T1) from 07/51-07/67. The mechanism is located in the driver's cab, near the feet, and is often damaged due to frequent installation and/or corrosion. BBT can now also supply you with a reproduction made in-house from stock. The control knob can be ordered separately under the item number # 0729, or 0729-eco for black.
Window cranks (or window cranks) are used intensively and therefore often break. After 1968, all models were mounted on the window frame with a screw. This ivory colored dashboard handle is found on Type 1 (i.e. Beetles) sedans and convertibles from 08/57 to 07/67 and provides some support, grip and safety for the passenger. The handle is often damaged by sunlight on many Beetles and is used frequently, so it needs to be replaced. BBT can now offer a good alternative from stock, including installation accessories.
