This is the later partition, also known as the “full moon”, and was used from August 1963 to July 1967.
The reason why VW introduced a new model partition at that time was very simple: because of the change in the seating arrangement. If your bus has a 1-piece front seat, you need the half moon partition, and if your bus has a 1/3 + 2/3 arrangement, you need this full moon partition. We are proud that these partitions are made to BBT’s own production molds.
