These are the metal clamping edges between which the roof lining is fixed. 3 sheets are required (BBT 2931-200) to install the roof lining in the passenger compartment, but of course it is also suitable for installing a complete roof lining on a bus that did not originally have one (for example on a box model) until 79 (BBT 2931-205) is only used in BusT1 around the air box (2x) and around the sunroof cutout (6x) on buses up to '67. Both profiles are 80 cm long.

This roof lining clamping element is also good for those that did not have roof lining or roof panels. We sell them in 80cm pieces. The Spárkafer beetles lacked this, and if you want a panel or roof lining for the T1 buses, you have to weld this to the roof edge before painting, around the windows or around the ventilation box. The roof lining is attached to the roof panel frame by steel rods. The steel rods must not touch the roof panel, so vibration and noise damping are necessary, so small rubber caps on the ends of these slats are very important.
