With the front spindle nuts installed, the Z-arms are pushed into the front axle lock body and secured with spring-loaded torsion plates. In this way, the Z-arms remain in place and are loaded on needle bearings on the outside of the front axle. These needle bearings are lubricated during operation with grease, which is fed into the front axle housing via grease nipples on the front axle. These needle bearings can be damaged due to heavy use and lack of regular lubrication. We can now deliver these needle bearings from stock. 4 of them are required to renew the needle bearings of a complete front axle.
