The shift linkage bushing can be replaced through this. You can find it behind the spare wheel, it is secured by a plate screw. It is not suitable for the 1302/03 Beetle! I think if you visit us in person we can still provide you with a usable second-hand one. Its diameter is 87mm.

The result is not so pretty. The welds thicken due to corrosion and the bottom is perforated and punctured.
