These rubber bumpers are located on both sides and rear of the flatbed of the single and double cab versions of the Type 2 and Type 3 vans. These rubber bumpers ensure that the tailgates do not come into contact with the bodywork when opened, which can damage the paintwork. Access to the fuel door on Type 2 buses 08/66-07/71 is blocked via a flap door on the right rear side of the bus. A spring clip keeps the door locked in 2 positions, but it can become damaged due to material fatigue or after disassembly. This means that the flap door can no longer be closed and can open while driving and be damaged. BBT can now supply replacement parts from stock.
