After intensive research we have finally found a manufacturer who can produce this quality product for BBT. These spring plate covers are supplied in pairs and are an exact copy of the original part. 1432-000 can be used for Beetles manufactured up to -10/52, while 1432-100 will be the reference if your Beetle was manufactured between 11/52 and 08/59.

The rubbers for the outside of the lid are part number 1453-4, inside in all cases it is 1453-1 on the left side and 1453-2 on the right inside.
