We have made our own late model T2 Bay window bus brake booster. It is designed with the correct right angle 14mm hose connection at the front and a bevelled vacuum connection at the rear. A well functioning brake booster will make owners of Type 2 Bay window buses much more comfortable while slowing down.

This adapter set allows the use of type 2 08/72-07/85 brake calipers and allows them to be adjusted on the original spindle nuts of the 08/69-07/72 model. It is a practical alternative for replacing the original, damaged 08/69-07/72 brake calipers, which are no longer available new.

The brake fluid refilling of Type 2 buses 08/72-07/79 is done through a tank located near the front passenger seat. This tank is connected to a second tank located above the master cylinder. The connection between the two tanks is provided by a PVC brake line, which we have now added to our range. This PVC brake line can be damaged by manipulation or friction with body parts. All are now available from stock.
