This is the upholstery vent next to the rear side window that we have been looking for for over 30 years. It is not easy to manufacture. That is why it is so expensive! The post-1970 Beetles had one of these where there are 4-4 vent nests next to the rear windshield. They are smaller than the 3-3 ones on the previous one, so this is the ONLY one that will work here. This mirror holder is an essential part for mounting the rearview mirror to the bodywork on Type 1 convertibles and Karmann Ghia 08/68-.
